StoreCopy Store Migration - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of the StoreCopy Store Migration service ("Service") available at storecopy.com. By using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Violations of these Terms may result in the termination of your account.

1. Definitions

• Service: Refers to StoreCopy Store Migration, a cloud-based platform for ecommerce data migration between different platforms like Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and others.
• Website: The StoreCopy website located at storecopy.com.
• Account: The user account registered with StoreCopy to access and use the Service.
• We, Us, Our: Refers to StoreCopy, its operators, and affiliates.
• You: Refers to the individual or entity using the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

• By accessing or using the StoreCopy Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
• StoreCopy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. User Obligations

• You agree not to modify, hack, or misuse the Service or the Website in any way that could harm the platform or violate the law.
• You must not upload, post, or transmit any malicious code (e.g., viruses, worms) or unsolicited messages (e.g., spam).
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activities that occur under your account.
• Any unauthorized use of the Service may result in the termination of your account.

4. Service Terms

• StoreCopy provides automated and custom store migration services. You understand that migrations involve data transfer and some data loss or alteration may occur due to third-party software limitations.
• You are responsible for backing up both the source and target stores before using the Service.
• StoreCopy does not guarantee the migration of custom data, fields, or information handled by third-party modules unless explicitly agreed.
• If you are migrating live data, you are strongly advised to place your store in maintenance mode to avoid data loss during the process.

5. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
• You are required to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• StoreCopy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these Terms, or for any reason at any time.
• By providing access to your store's account, you allow StoreCopy to perform migrations on your behalf.

6. Service Modifications

• StoreCopy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
• StoreCopy is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." StoreCopy makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• In no event shall StoreCopy be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.

8. Payment and Refund Policy

• All fees for the Service are provided in USD. Payment is required upfront, and migration services are non-refundable unless there are major technical issues that StoreCopy cannot resolve within 5 business days.
• Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the completion of migration, and only partial refunds (up to 30%) are possible after the service is rendered.

9. Data Protection

• StoreCopy is committed to safeguarding your data. However, you are responsible for ensuring the security of your own accounts and any data provided.
• After the migration is complete, it is your responsibility to revoke any access permissions provided to StoreCopy.

10. Termination

• These Terms remain in effect until your use of the Service is terminated.
• You or StoreCopy may terminate these Terms at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice.
• Upon termination, you must discontinue use of the Service, and any outstanding fees owed to StoreCopy must be paid immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ukraine.
